I need a monitor adapter to go from a 15 pin male (monitor) to a 9 pin male on the computer. Best way?

I was going to get a 15 pin female to female and then a 15male to a 9 female.
Is there another way cause I'm having troubkle finding the right adapter online. I founf them on Compusa but they're out of stock.
