Can you carry a 15 flat screen on a plan?

I am going to St. Lucia in October for my honeymoon and me and my fiance would like to take his playstation and my 15'flat screen. I can fold the flat screen stand and it will fit in a carry on bag. Do you think they would stop me or will it damage it by going through the scanner, would they try to scan it?

Reply:

Assuming you mean 15 inches, and not 15 feet, you shouldn't have a problem. The x-ray scanner won't do it any harm (thousands of people put laptop computers through them every day), and there's no prohibition on computer equipment aboard planes.

Since no one else has piped up yet, I'll ask the question that's so obvious it's like an elephant in your living room:

You're going on a HONEYMOON in ST LUCIA for God's sake -- what the hell do you want with a Playstation?!?!?!

You should be taking long walks, laying on the beach, going to great restaurants, shopping, and trying OVER and OVER and OVER again to make a baby, not sitting in the hotel room playing frigging video games!
