They are a pain, but they are probably carry more data per second than any other connection. Isn't it a pity though that we can't use the same connection an xbox uses. I think its RCA or SCART. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.)

Yeah it'll work as long as the monitor does. Good suggestion about keeping a consistent screen resolution too.
