There are other reasons. for example, a cable may handle 60 amps but after 10 feet, the voltage drop may be excessive.
Or the heat put out by the cable may be excessive when it is bundled with other cables.
for example, my own recent experience led me to use a larger cable than that specified by the wire tables, as the cable run was over 100 feet.

If your old iBook has a FireWire port, you can connect a FireWire cable to that computer to your other one. Then press and hold the "T" key on the keyboard of your old computer while it's starting up. The HD from your old computer should show on the G4. You should be able to. Open the Zune program and go to music since that is where they will probably show up. Fine the "album" and right click on it and update album art. Go find the picture you saved for the file. Some will advise you to use a meta tag editor. You may find one that works. I do know that what I mentioned will work for other audio clips.
